Fish, Pregnant Women, and Good Health

The Press Association (UK)- Pregnant women should eat at least two portions of oily fish per week to give children the best start in life, peers have said.Women should increase their intake of oily fish to help their unborn baby's brain develop, an all-party group recommended.At present, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) says expectant mothers should eat at least two servings of fish a week, including one of oily fish.The Associate Parliamentary Food and Health Forum said this should be increased.
