Learning to Trust Your Motherly Instinct

I remember thinking that I couldn't be a parent because I didn't "possess" that motherly instinct. However, when I look back with the benefit of hindsight, I was able to see the decisions I made with that instinct and how, by the end, I really did have it. Furthermore, when I became an everyday parent to my second born child, I saw how that motherly instinct come part and parcel with mothering itself.
